Bio

Journeys are undertaken in books; make no mistake, though.  It's the journey to the book that counts most.  What we bring with us to our writing ultimately reveals to us our focus and worldview.

So in short:  my adventure has been one with God.  It has taken me through Deafness, American Sign Language, three kidney transplants (plus diabetes!).  It has also brought me my loving wife, two amazing sons and a dear mother, a wise father plus indescribable friendships.  I am thankful.  

The harder the experience, the greater the rewards.  I have gained so much in writing A World on the Island's Edge and its sequel Map of a Soundless Clock. I look forward to the day when I can share with you my stand-alone novel, All the Stilled Voices.
